This painting depicts the binding machine being used in the production of wheat for thatching in 2003. These ancient methods are still used today to produce traditional varieties of wheat such as Square Master or Square head, Red Standard, Victor and Little Josh. This picture was painted in a field at Tree Farm, Black Dog.
